Dusty Books Thursdays, is a new Meme that I started where I will feature a book from my dusty bookshelves. More information about Dusty Books Thursdays can be found here.
This week I am going to feature a book by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I’ve had this book on my shelf since high school. It was given to me by a dear friend one year for Christmas I believe, and I just haven’t had a chance to read it yet. I’ll be honest, it’s so small, that I almost forgot that I had the book to begin with. Without further ado, I give you this weeks book.

By day, Risika sleeps in a shaded room in Concord, Massachusetts. By night, she hunts the streets of New York City. She is used to being alone. But someone is following Risika. He has left her a black rose, the same sort of rose that sealed her fate 300 years ago. Three hundred years ago she was human. Now she is a vampire, a powerful one, and her past has come back to torment her.
