Wedding Updates-T-6 months O.o

Wow! Where did the time go?  I honestly cannot believe that there are only six more months until I’m married O.o’.  Wedding plans have been going well I have to say, Kevin & I have decided where we are going to live come October :).

I will be perfectly honest, as much fun as all of this wedding planning is, it is also quite scary.  I mean, being married is a serious step, and not something to take lightly.  I’m so afraid that I am going to screw this up and drive Kevin away.  I’m always asking him, “Are you sure you want to marry me?”  His answer is always “yes.” Why? I have no idea to be perfectly honest.  He must be as crazy as I am to want to marry me.  LOL.

So, are you anxious to find out where we are going to live? I’ll bet you are.  My parents have graciously offered to turn our den into a studio apartment for us.  It’s technically already an apartment because my grandma used to live there before she moved into a nursing home.  So, we don’t have too much work we have to do on it thankfully. It will give Kevin and I some more time to save up money for a better apartment or house.  We aren’t planning on having children right away, so we can stay there for a year or two until we are ready to be on our own.

We have ordered the save the date cards, and those will be going out soon.  Please note, that while we wish we could invite everybody, due to spacing and financial reasons, we obviously can’t.  We would like to, however, invite everyone to come to the ceremony itself.  The wedding will be held at Our Lady of Fatima in Port Washington, NY.  If you are interested in attending the wedding, please contact me on facebook.

In other exciting news, we have booked a photographer and a DJ :).  We aren’t going over the top so to speak.  Neither one of us is big into all that stuff. We’ve started coming up with our playlist, and those who do come to the reception, we are positive that you will LOVE our selections :).

And lastly, we had a LOVELY visit with Kevin’s mother, who came down to visit us for the first time last week.  She met my parents, and it was a very nice time.  We took her to the church so that she could see where we are getting married, and to the reception hall.  I honestly could not have been blessed with a nicer mother-in-law 🙂

Now, I will leave you with some nice pictures of me, Kevin, and his mother, Nancy Jill Hale 🙂

Puuuuurrrrrdy kitties

Another thing that I love taking pictures of, are my aunt Linda’s cats, Whitney and Maggie. I can usually get Whitney to pose for me, but Maggie is usually more difficult. Whitney is the one with the white paws, & Maggie is the other one. And yes, they are sisters & little terrors.
